Bagaimana dengan rencana PLTN di Indonesia?

Hisako Sakiyama, a former researcher with the National Institute of Radiological Sciences who also spoke at the press conference, said that even if it becomes possible to make completely safe nuclear reactors, the problem of storing radioactive spent nuclear fuels would remain unsolved.

“We have to keep the spent fuel safe for more than 100,000 years. Humankind doesn’t have the technology to do that,” Sakiyama said. “Even if so-called safe reactors can be made, I believe now that this is the time to stop nuclear power generation.”
